Luxury it is not, but Oceanami Resort is a good value accommodation along Long Hai beach. Caters mostly to the domestic, weekend group tour crowd; from Tuesday to Friday we had this place almost to ourselves and it was eerily empty. A taxi ride away from sleepy Long Hai town and 30 minutes away from Vung Tau, you will likely feel stranded on the resort so be okay with staying in place before booking. Staff was attentive although English language levels varied. Good for kids and we saw several babies in addition to our's. Breakfast alright, lunch and dinner options tasty and everything very reasonably priced. Good massage at the spa, large pool suitable for lap swimming, modest fitness center. The beach itself wasn't great and no chairs for sitting on, perhaps because they would be washed away at high tide. If you go, definitely book the large Executive Suite (80 m2) over the tiny Deluxe room (23 m2), I'm glad we were able to switch at the property. The Expedia pictures don't do justice to the Executive Suite as they don't show the massive living room or patio with a private mini fish pond. Was strange that the room had absolutely no plates or utensils in the kitchen area, I understand they really want to discourage cooking in the rooms so you buy the resort food.
