Well, where can I start? We arrived at the Apartment after climbing over 140 stone steps, it is one hell of a climb, so BE PREPARED. Rose (the owner) is a very lovely lady, who will come and meet you at the apartment, show you around and give great advice, about where to eat and visit etc. Also Rose suggested that we should turn left at the top of the steps and walk that way down and up to the apartment as it is a gentler route. ( I cannot express enough staying here is absolutely wonderful, But Old Dubrovnik is built in a valley and Old Dominia is situated at the top) It is a wonderful place to stay close to the two Buza Bars, which are a must at sundown. And everything that you want to visit is within easy access. We found many Jems whilst on our visit, and used our Dubrovnik 7 day card to its fullest advantage. We visited everywhere on the map. Pull it out everywhere you go, if it's not free usually you get a percentage off, including meals. Talking about food, I would recommend Mea Culpa, Bonifide and Cele for great, good value and delicious food, beers and of course service. There are so many things to do and see.I would really recommend the Archaeological Museum, 30 kuna each for entry and there was no one else there, and believe it or not there was a walk along the walls, which opens out to the Pile Gate. We had a fantastic three hours exploring the exhibition. Thank you Rose, Old Dubrovnik for a memorable holiday.
