I really enjoy this hotel and I have always had pleasant experiences with the staff. I found out that I had an interview on the day I was supposed to check out, so I made a separate with the same room type. When I went to arrange it so I could potentially stay in the same room, they told me that not only did I have to change rooms, but the room type I had booked was reassigned to one that was horrible for my needs and for doing zoom meetings during the day. This pushed back my needs for the day and I had to make 8 separate trips because they didn't offer a cart to move my items. A maid DID offer to help, but it was during the last trip that I was making. She was at least super friendly. Despite there being king bed rooms available on both the Omni website AND hotels.com website up and through when I went to bed at 8 p.m, the hotel stood by their "we are completely sold out of king beds tonight and since you didn't book on Omni's website, we changed your room type." Don't plan on getting the room you book if you book through a 3rd party. This is the first time I've had such a negative experience at this hotel, but I will definitely be returning to my normal hotel choice on my next return.
