I stayed at this B&B for a few hours while waiting for a midnight flight, and overall, it met my needs. The location is excellent—only five minutes from the airport, in a safe, secure gated community, which provided peace of mind for a quick stopover. The room was clean and had the basics for a short stay, so it served its purpose well.
The main issue was the lack of transparency about payment. It’s a cash-only property, but I only discovered this upon my arrival, as it was buried in the policy section of the listing. I would’ve appreciated a clearer notification upfront, perhaps on the checkout page or through a direct message.
Upon arrival the owner mentioned that he had sent me several messages, but they didn’t reach my email inbox until hours after I had already checked in and some came in the following day. This could have been a hotels.com issue, so I’d suggest using WhatsApp for real-time communication in the future.
There were also a lot of rules, which made the atmosphere feel a bit rigid. For example, not being allowed to eat in the room.
Overall, though, for the price and the short stay, it was fine. Just a bit more clarity on the policies and a warmer reception would make a big difference!
