Spend an hour or 2 in the clothing boutiques, shoe stores and jewellers, and you’ll see why this street deserves its reputation as a shopping haven in Verona.

The markets are varied and tourist-friendly, whether you’re looking for fresh fruits and vegetables, souvenirs to remember your visit, or something to eat. And, as you take in the historic atmosphere of this impressive square, imagine how it would have looked back in the day as a Roman chariot racing circuit.
