Children's Discovery Museum Bangkok

The kid-friendly centre encourages a hands-on approach to learning, with interactive displays it calls a 'discovery learning process', where children enter the experience and participate in learning rather than remaining a passive viewer.

Children's Discovery Museum gets kids excited and encourages them to ask questions about how the world works. Head to the science gallery to create your own giant bubble or understand the nature of illusion by entering a tunnel of mirrors. In the Life section, they can examine the processes of the mind and body by experimenting with the human kinetic processes and checking their heart rate by riding an indoor bicycle.

At Build Our City, the little ones can learn about construction, urban planning or just make a cool multi-storey building from the blocks before knocking it all down in spectacular fashion. Another cool section at Children’s Discovery Museum Bangkok is the Dino Detective park, which allows kids to learn about prehistoric beasts and enjoy some digging at an outdoor archaeological site.

You can find the Children’s Discovery Museum Bangkok in the north of the city, near the famous Chatuchak Weekend Market.  You can take the BTS Skytrain to Mo Chit or MRT to Kampangphet and the museum is just a short walk from both stations.
