Chatuchak is a Bangkok area that’s best known for housing the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest markets in Southeast Asia. It’s also a great place for bargain shopping, as there are plenty of shops selling second-hand antiques and memorabilia. Local markets and street stalls offer fresh produce, authentic Thai dishes, and traditional sweets.

Chatuchak Park attracts many families and those looking for a convenient escape from downtown Bangkok. What's more, convenient public transport options make Chatuchak very easy to access, thanks to the MRT Underground Station at Chatuchak Park, the Mo Chit BTS Skytrain Station, and plenty of bus lines. The area also provides a convenient gateway to other areas in the north of Bangkok, such as Vipawadee Rangsit, Ladprao, and Saphan Kwai.
