Nature lovers will also find tranquil escapes around Nuuanu Avenue, including the nearby Foster Botanical Garden with lush green spaces and tropical plants in the middle of city centre Honolulu. Equally picturesque is Liliʻuokalani Botanical Garden, the former property and picnic grounds of Queen Liliʻuokalani. Here, visitors will encounter native Hawaiian plants.
