We got to the hotel around 6 pm and the hotel refused to check us in. They said they have quit working with Hotels.com for a long time and this is the first time they received a booking from the website. Dang, we drove all the way from Saigon to the site and trusting that they will fulfill their job accomodating us according to our booking. I really doubt what they told that ours is the 1st time they got for months??? If that were truth, they should have received many wrong booking from the glitch and the problem should have been solved. We guessed they oversold and still get paid from Expedia then have no room left for us. The consequence was we had to drive around for another 2 hours to look for a room in a Saturday night in Mui Ne, which is very touristy.
Please stay away from booking this hotel if you don't want to go through the same stupid experience like I did.
Last but not least, I really ask Expedia to conduct an thorough investigation to stop this bad business ethic for the customer's sake and process the compensation for me asap
