I never stayed at the Knot, and NEVER will. Yes, I did book a non-refundable room, but realized within minutes after booking that the website had reserved the wrong date. in spite of immediately contacting the booking agent AND the hotel, they would not reverse the room charge. I did not make it to Japan in the two days between my booking and my reservation, so could not check in. Such incosiderate customer service will be rewarded by my never staying at the Knot again - in ANY of the four cities where they operate. There are many choices in lodging, and life is too short to put up with treatment like this.
