Good value overall, and the room was very spacious. The staff was great. The property is a bit dated, but it's no big deal. I like the retro style. FYI the pool is an additional fee per person.

I like that the rooms are large and comfortable.
Facilities are adequate and there is a Lawson's convenience store 50 metres from the hotel entrance.
Transport options are limited though.
There is a shopping mall about 10 mins walk away and the closest subway station direct to the airport is Nishijin Station about 1 km away.

Nice hotel with a few niggles in practicality
This was sort of a week long staycation with my 6 year old daughter.
Check in was pretty easy, although there was confussion with breakfast for kids.My Hotels.com reservation said breakfast included for all occupants but the hotel said it didn't include kids.
The "apartment" room was spacious and nice and comfortable. It is old and the age showed, but it was very clean and tidy. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was really good.
The bad:
- The kitchen did not have ANY utensils...not even any plates and basic cutlery. They ALL had to be rented. Every other similar place I have been to in Japan and in other countries have had atleast plates. Only 4 glasses and 4 mugs were there..plus the water heater, single top stove, microwave and fridge. So if you are a traveller from a far, the kitchen is more or less useless and have to resort to renting everything or eating out of takeaway cartons.
- Despite several requests not to; we were loaded with plastic toothbrushes, and stuff on a daily basis. Even when we were willing to use a towel for more than just once and even if we hadn't used a towel it was taken away :(
- The property is right next to a fire station and a hospital nearby. There were ambulance sirens blazing all through the night and due to closeness of the expressway, etc...there were constant noise of loud exhaust cars and police car sirens. Sound proofing is pretty good but you still can hear the muffled sounds.
Overall...my my daughter and I loved it.

Great spot for business trip
I was in town on work and found the hotel excellent at the price point.
The only draw back is it’s a bit from the downtown area so if you are looking for close dinner options you will need to go to the nearby Mall.

The hotel advertises a swimming pool, but it was closed for the whole month without any explanation as to why.
I had requested a non-smoking room (I'm an ex-smoker), but was given a smoking room which stank cold tobacco. To get a snon-smoking room, I was downgraded into smaller appartement, but the hotel wouldn't reimburse the difference.
Staff was super kind and helpful throughout.

Large room and nice pool.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very large, like a studio apartment with small kitchen and large bathroom. The staff were helpful and nice. The location is close to the beach and the Fukuoka City museum which is worth a visit.

economy business hotel
This is primarily an economy a convenient economy option for business travelers. The location is not particularly convenient for those traveling on holiday, and although the rooms are large, they are not particularly comfortable. The breakfast buffet also leaves much to be desired. The biggest upsides here are the in-room kitchen (if you're traveling for an extended time) and the price.
